Welcome to the Greater Lansing Jewish Federation
150,000 people have been made homeless by the earthquakes and need to cope with the bitter cold in the region. Our focus, alongside our partners, will be on helping this population cope with living outside in difficult conditions by supplying thousands of tents, heaters, thermal clothing, ready to eat meals, and first aid kits.
Jewish Federations power the emergency response on the ground through our core dollars. We are able to respond so quickly because of the work we do all day, every day.

The 2022-2023 Campaign is in full swing! Your donations will fund people in need around the world (especially Ukraine) and in the local community, sending Lansing area children to Jewish summer camp, and provide programming to bring the Greater Lansing Jewish community together.
Summer Camp Stipends
Applications for stipends for Jewish summer sleep-away camps are due April 1. Day camp stipend information will be available later in the spring. Families who receive awards for sleep-away camp will also be eligible for day camp. Click the button below to apply:

The Greater Lansing Jewish Federation is an affiliate of the Jewish Federations of North America, an organization that represents 146 Jewish Federations and 300 independent Jewish communities. The Federation movement places collectively among the top ten charities on the North American continent in charitable activities and has the goal of protecting and enhancing the well-being of Jews worldwide through the values of tikkun olam (repairing the world), tzedakah (charity and social justice) and Torah (Jewish learning).
The local Federation serves as an umbrella organization for the Jewish community, sponsoring events, giving gifts to all B'nai Mitzvah, sending local kids to Jewish camps, and providing a community calendar with events from the area synagogues and the MSU Serling Institute for Jewish Studies and Modern Israel.
